ARTIST'S STATEMENT: This vibrant digital piece is a collaboration between husband and wife. Karen and Larry blend and edit original photos into abstract compositions. We want to share our fascination and love for the nature that surrounds our home in southern Indiana. We never tire of exploring the colors, patterns, and textures that nature offers. By isolating these elements and changing the colors, we transform the ordinary into a radiant, altered reality.
Materials: Original photos digitally printed on satin polyester fabric with cotton batting. Quilted with silk thread
