DESCRIPTION: These luminous digital and quilted pieces are a collaboration between husband and wife. Karen and Larry combine and modify original photograph images into abstract compositions. We want to share our fascination and love for the nature that surrounds our home in southern Indiana. We never tire of exploring the colors, patterns, and textures found in nature. By extracting only the textures, patterns, and shapes and changing the colors, we transform the ordinary into a radiant, altered reality.

Materials: Original photos digitally printed on satin polyester fabric with cotton batting. Quilted with silk thread
