DESCRIPTION: This hand-dyed, whole cloth Shibori is a one-of-a-kind piece created by Karen Hampton. Using cold snow with the dye allows different dye particles to interact at various times, producing multiple distinct colors from just two original dyes — yellow and purple.

MATERIALS: Original whole cloth shibori snow-dyed onto heavy white silk habotai.
